Own dive computer is a must for every diver. It is the basic element of our equipment because it is responsible for our safety. During the diving course you will use the computer from the diving center, but after completing the course you should think about buying your own. But how to choose the best computer that meets your expectations and will serve you long and reliably? You can get an answer to this question already during the diving course or in our shop.
Choosing a dive computer is also important depending on the development path you want to choose as a diver. If you are interested only in occasional, recreational diving, cheaper models will be perfect. However, if you are thinking about technical diving, it may be worth buying a more advanced computer that can handle several gases during the dive. Contact us and our instructors will help you choose the best product.
How does a dive computer work? The dive computer is a device characterized by very high functionality. Although most models look like a traditional watch, their possibilities are really very wide. With their help, we can monitor all the necessary measurements during safe dives under water. They will count the time, the depth of the descent and the so-called NDL (Non Decompression Limit). The more advanced models of dive computers also include such functionalities as a 3D compass, analysis of the diver's heart rate, color display or the ability to connect the computer with a gas pressure sensor in the cylinder.
Most of the offered diving computers available on DIVERS SHOP. also have the ability to transfer all data to a laptop or desktop computer, thanks to which we can have all the necessary data in one place. More and more dive computers communicate with a PC via Bluetooth and enable wireless charging (such as in phones). Your own dive computer is also a great way to digitally monitor all your progress. It is an electronic version of the logbook in which we can collect all information relevant to us from each dive.
